Brazil 2018 - World Class Academy, Quarter 1

Brazil, it’s always amazing!
This year with World class academy Brazil was the first destination of the school year, with a total of 6 weeks spent between Parajuru, Cumbuco and Taiba.
Parajuru was a new spot for most of us, but a great location to start off, the lagoon has plenty of space for everyone and gave us all a good opportunity to get back into training on and off the water, and for all the new students and teachers to get into the swing of school life.
Cumbuco came next with the epic flat lagoons and wind every day it was the perfect spot for progression, unfortunately I had some pain in my back, I was still able to kite almost every day but was not at 100%.
For the last two weeks the crew moved on to Taiba, it’s hard to pick a favourite between Cumbuco and Taiba, both spots are out of this world with super consistent wind and amazingly flat warm water, but Taiba definitely has the best Acei as far as I am concerned!
By the end of Brazil I had definitely progressed, landing BS315 pretty consistently and also nailing a few FS317, I really wanted just a couple more weeks in Brazil but time to go, can’t wait to be back again next year!
