This April I traveled to St Pierre La Mer to take part in the IKA Junior World championships.
Things didn’t go exactly to plan for me this time, I arrived a few days before the competition hoping to get a couple of days of training in, but unfortunately after just a few minutes on the water I injured my shoulder and ended up visiting the hospital instead, that put an end to my training.
I was determined to try to enter the competition, I did give it a try and managed to pass the first couple of rounds with some safe easy tricks, but I was not able to pass the bar with my injury, overall I managed to climb to 9th place with tactical heats and taking it easy, but that was as far as I could go.
Once home my shoulder needed physio, but after 3 weeks of recovery I was back in the water and ready to train for Spain.
