Home sweet home!

This Christmas I headed back to Egypt for 3 weeks, time for training and catching up with friends.

It was great to be back on my home spot in El Gouna and enjoy some warm water, the wind was a bit up and down, I had some super light wind sessions and some great looping sessions.

I managed to get some solid training days, and practice all my freestyle tricks, as well as hang out at my favorite kite spots and catch up with all my friends, and even got a day kiting in Tawila Island, thats a must if visiting El Gouna!

This time I was trying out my new toy, the PIQ; that’s a small gadget that was kindly offered to me by PIQ & Northkiteboarding that attaches to your board and tells you how high your jumps were as well as some other information, you can see the jump height on the display right after landing and after your session connect to your phone app for full stats, and to connect to leader boards, it’s a pretty cool toy! I was happy with my biggest jump, reaching 9.9 meters, but hoping to break the 10m mark soon!

The time flew by and soon back to Portugal and school, can’t wait for the next Egypt trip!
