A Few Words About Me

Age: 16
Nationality: Egyptian/British
My Story:
I was born and lived in El Gouna, Egypt for the first 13 years of my life, that's where my passion for kitesurfing began, on the beautiful waters of the Red Sea.

I started Kiteboarding when aged 9, and entered my first competition one year later, the seaman race in Hamata.

My home spot in Egypt was Mangroovy beach El Gouna, its a great place to hang out with good wind and flat warm water.

After getting a taste for competitions I started training towards my goal of being a world champion, and a year later I competed in the PKRA Junior world cup in Spain, It was really great but challenging to kite in a different conditions and I won my age category and became the Under 12 world champion in 2014, this just fueled my motivation to keep going and keep competing, since then I have entered many competitions, local and international, junior and open and have secured another world title and a runner up world ranking.

I currently live in Portugal, and kite mostly in Alvor lagoon, and try to get to Tarifa when possible.

I am now a student at the World Class Kiteboarding academy, it's a school dedicated to education and kitesurfing, we are a small group of motivated young athletes who travel to different destinations around the world with our team of teachers and coaches, giving us the unique opportunity to stay focused on our high school education while training and competing in some of the best spots around the world.

My main discipline in Kiteboarding is freestyle, but I also love going big, hitting sliders and recently have started to get into foiling, basically I love to be on the water weather it's with a twin tip, foil or surfboard.

Highlights:
GKA Junior Air Games World Champion 2018 - 1st place - U16
PKRA Junior Freestyle World Champion 2014 - 1st place - U12
Virgin Junior Freestyle World Championship 2015 - Runner up/2nd place - U14
